Should you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to speak to Miss Laura Shaw on reception who will be able to assist you.We provide the full range of NHS treatment (plus limited orthodontics appointments) to all members of the public, adults/children and NHS exempt patients.
We also provide private treatment, including cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics to improve your smile.
NHS and Private treatment can be mixed.

What should I expect on my first visit?
Once you have seen the dentist he/she will provide you with details of your personal treatment plan with alternative costs and options involved, which you will be asked to sign. Another appt maybe arranged to complete your treatment or you may be referred for a specialist service. You will be asked to sign any relevant NHS forms.
Full payment for your treatment will be required at this visit

You can express a preference about which dentist you will see. We will make all reasonable efforts to ensure that the request is met, but this may not always be possible. Should you wish to express a preference of practitioner, please state who you would like to be seen by when booking your appointment
Whilst we would like to be able to see all patients, due to the nature of the practice building, our treatment areas are accessible to wheelchairs on the ground floor. However our bathroom facilities are not. If you do have any disability that you think we need to know about please give us a call before your appointment and
we will do our best to put suitable arrangements in place to accommodate your needs.
Patients maybe refused NHS treatment for
Failure to provide 24hrs notice
Violent or abusive behaviour towards staff
Our practice policy is that if, on more than one occasion, patients cancel with less
than 24 hours’ notice or do not attend an appointment, in a period of one year then
we will no longer be able to offer NHS treatment.
We will of course take any special circumstances into account.
We may still be able to offer private dental care, but will require a non-refundable deposit

What are the NHS dental charges?
NHS DENTAL CHARGES
The three NHS charge bands are as follows:
Band 1: £18.80.
This charge includes an examination, diagnosis and preventive advice. If necessary,
it also includes X-rays, scale and polish and planning for further treatment.
Band 2: £51.30.
This charge includes all the necessary treatment covered by the £17.00 charge,
plus additional treatment, such as fillings, root canal treatment or extractions.
Band 3: £222.50.
This charge includes all the necessary treatment that is covered by Band 1 and Band 2,
plus more complex procedures, such as crowns, dentures and bridges
